Good Morning Beach Students and Staff! Here are your announcements for Thursday, February 2, 2012:


STAND meets TODAY in the media center! See you at lunch!

The Academic Tune-up group meets today after school in the media center. See Ms. Compton if you have questions.

Today 8th grade quiz bowl will be between Apple Pi and Awesome O. Meet 5th hour in the counseling conference room.

7th grade quiz bowl will be between Gryffindor Party More and Fruity Petooties. Meet 6th hour in the counseling conference room.

There will be SEVERAL Quiz Bowl matches on Friday for both 7th & 8th graders. Look in your classrooms and on the office window for the schedule. All matches will be held in the counseling conference room.

The Wrestling Team traveled to Lincoln last night and won 12 out of 21 matches. Winning for the Bulldogs were Jacob Jacobusse, Quinton Clark, Cole Phillips, Kyle Trembley, Michael Barnes, Graham Kuras, Jordan Haber, Dar Downer, Zach Bennett, Evan Hafley, Max Mason and Morgan Waggoner. If you are bored on Saturday come down to Manchester and watch all day wrestling!

Good luck today to the Girls’ Basketball Teams as they travel to Saline. Dismissal time is 2:55.

Box Tops results are in! A total of 16,636 box tops were submitted by our BMS students earning us $1,663.50. This is the most we have ever collected - way to go Beach students! To celebrate we are awarding the highest class in each grade with a pizza party! And the winners are:
6th grade: Mrs. Knudstrup’s class bringing in a total of 1,009.
7th grade: Mrs. Lombardo’s class bringing in a total of 1,816.
8th grade: Mr. Thorburn’s class bringing in a total of 2,033.
