Good Morning Beach Students and Staff! Here are your announcements for Friday, January 27, 2012:


Today is Free from Bullying Friday! All those who are wearing Pink are safe to talk to and want a school where name calling is nonexistent! If you have been bullied in the past, the people in pink are here to support you!

Today is the last day to turn in your Box Tops to your 3rd hour teacher. The 3rd hour class that brings in the most Box Tops wins a pizza party. Good luck!

Fun with Foods Students – please bring your laptops to class today!

Today in 8th grade quiz bowl, we start round 2 with “Like a Boss” vs. “Potato Mongooses”. Meet in the counseling conference room at the beginning of 6th hour!

The 7th grade Girls’ Basketball team defeated Tecumseh last night 22-13. The girls played inspired defense the whole night as they won their first road game of the season. Leading scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were as follows: Jesse Jacobusse 12, Sydney Bailey 6, Abby Bareis 2, Kathryn Beauchamp 2, Autumn Johnson 2, Natasha McElrath 2, Selena Shanely 2, Anna Knight 2, Sara Stribe 1.

The 8th grade Girls’ Basketball team defeated Tecumseh yesterday 23-8. The team played great defense not allowing Tecumseh to score in 3 of the 5 periods. Maggie, Maddie, Olivia, Alayna and Renee all had strong games.

Good Luck to the Swim & Dive team as they travel to the MISCA Championships today and tomorrow.

Good luck also to the Wrestling team as they host the Chelsea Invitational on Saturday.

Happy Birthday tomorrow to Brady Friss, Quinn Kelly, Ashley & Lauren Pieske, and Mrs. Stofflet. Happy Birthday on Sunday to Blake Barnes, Hanna Clark, and Cynthia Gillespie.
